LUKAS BEIGEL

Lukas Beigel is part of Ärzte für Madagaskar Team in Berlin. He is working on enhancing visibility and transparency of the projects through new ways of knowledge sharing and cost data analysis. In his research he is led by a strong interest for health care financing, overcoming health systems barriers and improving access. He is a medicine and economics student, with mixing fascinations from numbers to the human brain. 
Through personal, work and research experiences in Brazil, Venezuela and Chile he got motivated by the chances of working across cultural and personal borders, while sharing meals, laughs and a common purpose. Driven by a curiousness for understanding the complexities of people’s daily life and thus their health needs, he is now involved in the expansion of Ärzte für Madagaskars tuberculosis projects, among others.
