Without PAUL there is little or no clean water. Developed for use in disaster areas, PAUL is a kind of water rucksack with a built-in filtering system - mobile and easy to use. In the Fotadrevo hospital, water from the well is filtered using PAULs for patients and staff. Contaminants and bacteria which may be present in the water are filtered out, so that the water can be drunk straight away.
