Donate as a gift

Planning a special celebration? Skip the traditional gifts and make a meaningful contribution by donating in someone’s name instead.

If you want to encourage others to donate in lieu of gifts for your own special occasion, you have two options:

  1. Collect donations during your event and then transfer the total amount to us.
  2. Encourage friends and family to donate directly via PayPal, betterplace.org or bank transfer. Use a unique keyword for these donations so that we can keep you and your guests informed of the total amount raised. To ensure your guests understand how their contributions will be used, we are more than happy to send you detailed information about our organisation and ongoing projects, just contact us at info@doctorsformadagascar.com

Charity Events

Our work depends on your support. You can help by organising a fundraising event, perhaps with your social club, school or business.

Work with us

We are always on the lookout for experienced healthcare workers to volunteer with us. We are interested to hear from specialists in internal medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology or infectious disease, with experience in a low-income setting, and working-level French.

Madagascar

We offer internships to Malagasy nationals who are enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral programme in a health-related field or in other fields relevant to our activities (logistics, finance, human resources) and who are interested in the work of a non-governmental organisation.

Germany

If you are a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD student in a health-related field and are interested in the work of a non-governmental organisation, we can offer you an internship in our team in Berlin.
