MIDWIFE MADAGASCAR

LARISSA ZAKAMANDIMBY

Midwife Larissa, a Fort Dauphin native, has been part of the Doctors for Madagascar team since early 2017. The mother of a baby daughter was working for a family planing project before joining DFM. She now works as part of the medical staff on the ambulance, taking care of pregnant women suffering from pregnancy complications. In addition, Larissa takes part in sensitisation campaigns informing the population on how to have a safe and healthy pregnancy/delivery.
